Mosquito transmit Malaria, Filaria, and a large number of viral infections such as Yellow Fever, Dengue, Encephalitis (including the dangerous Japanese encephalitis) and Chikungunya through their blood-sucking habits, which also cause considerable discomfort and distress to humans.
